We have a opening for L2 Business Application Support :
Experience: 4-5 years of experience in ICT Systems Analysis or ICT Support or ICT Development and Maintenance
Educational background: B.E/ B.Tech / M.C.A
Provide direct support during business application incidents and ensure that the incident is handled properly as per process
Responsible for root cause analysis of business application system incidents through the problem management process
Work directly with business to identify issues in day to day functioning of business applications and help management to prioritize the issues with development team
Improve application functionality and performance and work with development team for system and business improvements.
Responsible for maintenance of documentation related to business application support incidents and corresponding workarounds and fixes
Work with business analysis and testing group as an extended team member to provide inputs from production support to ensure an efficient application design
Develop an overall and as well as in-depth understanding business processes of the department being supported by the team, also prepare documentation for the same.
Working knowledge of Linux, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, WebLogic and Apache.
Hands on experience with design and support of business applications using SQL, Java, SOAP, REST and web services
Ability of create and understand UML along with a working knowledge of OOP principles
Ability to influence technical resource teams to undertake necessary actions in the restoration and maintenance of a stable IT environment
Ability to build effective working relationships across the business, with key stakeholders and with 3rd party service providers (both internally and externally), establishing credibility amongst a wide and demanding customer group
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to understand technical information and relay in business terms
High stress endurance and availability to resolve issues - inside / outside of business hours
Above par communication skills - an individual who can communicate with all echelons of organization with confidence and should have Client oriented personality.
Nice to have skills:
Working knowledge of web application and mobile application architecture
Experience in OSB based web services support and development
Working knowledge of databases and workload distribution
Able to work in a multicultural environment
